Banglanatak is headed by Amitava Bhattacharya who was the first, in the year 2000, to put information on the net about the talented artists and craftsmen working in the chaotic theater or 'jatra' industry of Bengal. It is through is vision and the efforts of the team that information and particulars about artists of Bengal could be found by producers and directors and their talent displayed to the world.

In 2015 Banglanatak has reached 2500 villages across 23 states of India. Kudos to them for transforming lives and giving music & theater its rightful place in India's social fabric.

We at Calport are honored to be associated with Banglanatak.
